This is our first time ever getting a dog. We did a lot of research to determine what breed would be the best match for our family. When we found Heritage Golden Doodles, we were so excited. We went to their home and visited the puppies. They were clearly very well cared for and loved by the whole family. The puppies mother was relaxed in the house and the puppies played happily while we were there. Shannon wanted to ensure that her puppies were going to good homes where they would be loved and cared for in the same way.
We felt very good about bringing a puppy from Heritage Golden Doodles into our home. We have stayed in touch and when we went through a rough patch (new puppy parents adjusting to life with a dog) Shannon was incredibly supportive and helpful. We are so lucky to have met this wonderful breeder and to have been able to bring home our adorable Teddy.

We were contemplating when would be the best time for our family to finally get a puppy. Our son has asthma and is allergic to most dogs. However, we all wanted one, and Chloe's first litter came available after our son had completed several months of allergy shots with proven asthma control. So we visited the puppies (oh my! So cute we made a deposit that day!), then we visited again at 5 weeks, and 7 weeks before ultimately taking our sweet puppy, Dabo, home with us last August.

Dabo has been the biggest blessing to us, and we truly feel like out family is complete! His temperament is so sweet, he is gentle with our children, and he doesn't shed at all!! Plus he's super smart and catches on quickly. We absolutely love Dabo, and appreciate Heritage Goldendoodles for such a perfect pup! It was clear he was loved well before he came home to us.
